Meet the Author

Stacy Klaus was the owner of The Knitting Nest, a beloved local yarn store in Austin, Texas which has since closed. Just like the story, she went to work every day with her two Westies, Hank and Gracie. Her niece, Molly Wade, created the book's charming illustrations.
